Southern Sky Aviation believes private aviation should deliver confidence—not compromise. That’s why the recent discussion at Corporate Jet Investor Miami 2025 struck a critical chord. Moderator David Hernandez of Vedder Price emphasized, these flight-by-the-seat operations are far from a harmless “gray area.” When something goes wrong, customers using illegal jet-share services “really have no rights.” That’s a risk no traveler should have to take.

Lambert shared that his company has lost flights and management opportunities to these off-the-books groups. Some aircraft owners, he said, are tempted by programs that let them sell seats to friends—even if it means operating outside FAA regulations.
